Katie Sanders

BPsych, MComm, DipHyp, DipLifeCoach, IAAN

Katie is a neuroscience-informed clinical hypnotherapist, mental health educator, and coach, and the founder of Align Mind. She works within a permissive hypnotherapeutic model, integrating clinical hypnotherapy with evidence-based coaching, subconscious reconditioning, and nervous system regulation to support lasting psychological and behavioural change.

Katie holds qualifications in psychology, clinical hypnotherapy, trauma-informed coaching, and communications. She has worked with hundreds of individuals across the Weight Watchers and Studio Pilates communities, as well as postnatal groups including Mother’s Connected. As a mother of three, Katie is particularly passionate about supporting clients navigating identity shifts, emotional overload, and the hormonal and nervous system demands that often accompany parenthood.

Katie works with adults seeking support for concerns including:

  • Emotional and binge eating, and self-sabotaging habits
  • Weight loss and food-related behaviours
  • Alcohol reduction and changing habitual drinking patterns
  • Smoking, vaping, and recreational drug use cessation
  • Anxiety, overthinking, and chronic stress
  • Building healthier routines and positive habits
  • Confidence, self-worth, and body image concerns
  • Managing anger, reactivity, or impulsive behaviours
  • Difficulty relaxing, switching off, or accessing a sense of calm (including chronic overwhelm, dysregulation, and burnout)

Katie’s approach is collaborative, outcome-focused, and clinically aligned. She supports clients to address the underlying root causes of patterns rather than simply treating symptoms or relying on willpower alone. Her focus is on helping clients shift long-standing patterns in a way that feels sustainable, regulated, and compassionate.

Fees are $220 per session (minimum of 4 sessions).
